IOFEYE/ INDIRA H.
I am a self taught artist based in Denmark.
My work is characterized by experimentation, expressionistic approach and intuitiveness. Drawn to the potential that lies in collisions and connections between different media, I seek to combine various expressive languages and make them ”talk to each other”. I am fascinated by that which happens when unlikely phenomena collide or get combined and by experimenting with the intersections - this is why many of my projects or creations are hybrid and exist on different media-planes. For me art is about touching, experiencing and relating to multiplicity, complexity and totality of being , and so the expression of that is facilitated by allowing for different languages and dimensions of self to be channeled, connected and experienced.
I am often drawn to explore both abstract themes and figurative motifs, the connections between them, as well as the worlds-within-worlds idea, where different levels of scenes unfold simultaneously within a single frame. This is rooted in the idea that creation is fractal, endless and that wherever we may zoom in and engage with consciousness and attention, the worlds, possibilities and realities open up to experience and exploration. Much of my work carries a flavor of mythical elements, dream-like landscapes, fantastical creatures or surreal sceneries. I like exploring themes of story, myth, language, dreams - all these being an extension or deepening of my general interest and fascination with the phenomenon of consciousness. Seeking both to allow the emergent and at the same tim to intentionally create, I am fascinated by the combination of the unpredictable with the intentional, conscious and beyond-conscious.
Throughout the years, I have worked with creative facilitation and creation of cultural projects on the side of my own art practice. For a number of years I have performed with live video  at concerts and music events.
Since 2020 I have been active in web3 space, integrating blockchain into my own practice, expression and co-creation. I have since had my art shown at various web3 events and exhibitions, I have had the pleasure of co-curating exhibitions and have been an active participant in various community projects in the web3 sphere.
My art has been shown at exhibitions and cultural events around the world.
